This treatment plant was built in 2000 in order to purify the water from the municipality, replacing the old high tanks that were used in the past. Currently the plant and in general the public services company hold the second place at the departmental level with the best drinking water.

You can get to this beautiful town (Curillo) traveling by from Florencia, crossign Morelia, Belen de Los Andaquies, San José de Fragua and Albania. Also it is possible to arrive at the municipality by waterway through the Caquetá river from Solita and Solano towns.
