This event is very traditional and celebrated during the first week of December and it is under the auspices of the Departmental Institute of Culture and Tourism of Caqueta

This fair is the most important event celebrated in Caquetá and it is carried through each October. The fair has as a main purpose to choose the best equine, bovine and canine specimens equine, from the department

This event includes the famous "San Juan" and it is carried out the final days every June. This festival make up every neighborhood from the town in order to choose the most beautiful woman who can dance very well the "Sanjuanero" typical dance. This queen then goes to participate in the beauty pageant for peace and culture, called "san Pedro" in Caquetá.

The Folk Festival and San Pedro Ecotourism beauty pageant takes place during the last days in June and the early days in July. This festival brings together people from the region and other places in the country in order to see the election and coronation ceremony of "Miss Caqueta", who in turn obtains the opportunity to participate in the National Beauty Pageant of Sanjuanero, that is going to be celebrated in Neiva, Huila

These fairs began in Doncello since 1988, about starting in the second week of August, with the support of various representatives of municipalities of Caqueta that are linked to this event with their cultural and livestock samples, it is noteworthy this year has been ranked as one of the most important cattle samples of Caqueta after Florence, with regional and other departments exhibitors each year is highlighted with better results and greater support of the population in general.

"Festival del Caucho" or Rubber Festival was created by the Cultural Center leaded by its director and for pleasing the population, taking into account the main economic activity in the region since its beginning: rubber extraction.

Event held annually at the beginning of the month of January, since 2008, it lasts three days, during which various competitions and activities are conducted such as rafts, tires, audio card, contest contest of land rover, beach volleyball, bike ride and cultural activities such as street theatre, dance and music.

The "San Pedro" artistic Fest is celebrated in June. It is one of the most important celebrations of the municipality which shows each year the growth of the students from the "Semillas del Bodoquero"  cultural and artistic education school. During San Pedro Fest there are carried out different activities like the nautical parade (on handmade rafts made by fishermen). In the San Pedro Fest it is also carried out the Amazon Native Colonies Festival.  

The livestock and equine Fair is a commercial event developed annually, during the first days of October. Over the weekend -time that the Fair takes- different activities carried out like "Vara", greased pig, rodeos, cycling circuit, livestock auction, horseback riding, cockfighting, equine festival besides gastronomic and handcraft showing.

Sueños del Bodoquero National artistic and cultural meeting takes place since 2005 during the first week of August. At this meeting attend delegations of theatre, music, Visual Arts and film art groups from Colombia. These groups perform artistic exhibitions; In addition to this, it is carried out a folkloric parade with all the artists and the troupes.
